Finishing Warrior Dash is more about mental toughness than being in great shape.
There's certainly risk involved in Warrior Dash, but we take every precaution possible to get you to the finish line safely. There will be paramedics and an ambulance on site in case of an emergency. You enter Warrior Dash at your own risk.
What you see is what you get until race day. Click on your region's page for a detailed map of your battleground course.
You may have to swim while on the course, but if you aren't able, you can go around any water obstacles or hop on another Warrior's back. There will be lifeguards on site.
Keep an eye out for an expanded 2012 schedule.
There's no team division, but you're welcome to Dash with some friends to help you through the obstacles.
- Day one: run as far as you can. Go home.
- Day two: do the same thing.
- Find the dirtiest pond in your neighborhood and snorkel in it - in your slippers, without goggles.
- Practice your climbing and crawling skills at your local jungle gym. Ignore the small children and parental glares.
- Do not shower or shave for weeks in order to obtain a true Warrior look.
Seriously though, your best bet is to do plenty of running leading up to the race.
You're expected to complete all obstacles. If you're unable to complete an obstacle you may bypass the obstacle and receive your finisher medal, although you'll be disqualified from all awards.
Sorry, no refunds under any circumstances.

Yes. There will be one water station at the half-way point on the course to keep you hydrated on your journey.
Make sure your chip is positioned low to the ground (below the knee) and stays tightly attached to your shoe at the start and finish of the race in order to receive your time.
It's time to train! Here at Warrior Dash, we understand that our race caters athletes of all levels which is why we have created training programs for all kinds of Warriors.
You are the Virgin Warrior - you own a set of dumbbells, but they are currently being used as doorstops and paperweights. You’d like to be more active, but thinking about it makes you tired and your TV schedule just won’t allow it. The only thing getting you through this three mile obstacle course, is the thought of a cold beer and turkey leg waiting for you at the finish line. You don’t want to win Warrior Dash - you just want to finish.
You are the Casual Warrior - you try to make exercise a priority but your most consistent workout is making a sixth trip to the coffee machine. Hours logged in the gym have now become hours logged at work and late nights at the office lead to take-out dinners. Perhaps this is why your letterman jacket is a bit snug these days. You don’t want to win Warrior Dash - you just want to beat the guy wearing a dress.
You are the Ultimate Warrior - a 5K run is considered a mere warm-up and pain is viewed as a necessary component of any challenge. Your diet consists mainly of protein and your sheer athleticism causes Chuck Norris to tremble. To you, there's nothing like the smell of sweat at 6am on a Saturday. The term “fear” does not exist in your vocabulary. You don’t want to run Warrior Dash - you want to win it.
*Warrior Dash and Red Frog Events are not responsible for any injuries related to this training program. Exercise at your own risk.
